Message	stock LT1 uses 180 degree thermostate and the fans do not turn on at 220 degree, but one can get 160 or 170 degree thermostat, and maybe 160(can't remeber). In addition, take the running environment into consideration. So, figure why the needle is set at that position yet? 2nd, 100mph at 2500rpm is correct, and that's its 6th gear. It runs 80mph at 2000rpm in 6th gear. Erick
